General Information

Admission to Semester-wise three year B.A. /B.Sc. Honours courses under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) offered by Government General Degree College at Pedong, affiliated to the University of North Bengal, are merit based. Applicants are instructed to read carefully the guidelines provided below and the eligibility criterion before filling in the application form online. 

1. Undergraduate admissions for 2021-22 will be conducted only through the admission portal of the college.
2. Applicants must register through the above portal before online application.
3. The entire procedures of application and admission are online. There is no provision for offline application or admission. 
4. Application forms for admission to undergraduate degree courses (B.A./B.Sc. Honours and program) for the academic year 2021-22 will be available online on the admission portal of the college on and from 02.08.2021 to 20.08.2021.
5. Subject-wise Provisional Merit List will be published tentatively on 30.08.2021. Applicants are required to apply online within the stipulated time period mentioned above and follow the notifications on the portal regularly. 
6. Online application for UG admission is entirely free of cost. No Application Fee will be charged from the applicants. 
7. Students who have passed the 10+2 level examination from any recognized board by the university (e.g. ISC, CBSE, NIOS, West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education and other boards of other states) are eligible for application to this college.
8. Students who have passed Higher Secondary (Vocational) Course [10+2] will be treated as equivalent with course curriculum and syllabus of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE). Such students shall be admitted only in the 1st Year of B.A. / B.Sc. Program Courses.
