Admission Procedure

  1. The admission processes to the 1st Semester Courses for the academic session of 2021-22 shall be conducted as per the schedule issued by the University of North Bengal (NBU), through the website of the college (www.pedongcollege.in) . 
  2. Merit list will be prepared and published according to student intake capacity and reservation regulations.
  3. The whole process will be conducted online. Neither the application, nor the admission fees can be submitted/deposited in offline mode, i.e. physically at the office  of the college.
  4. Merit list will be prepared and published on the college web page based on the correctly and completely filled up application forms for each Honours course and programme course. 
  5. After publication of the Merit list, selected candidates will be informed  through their registered email and SMS and shall be asked to pay the admission fee online through Net Banking/ Debit Cards/Credit Cards . They have to complete the payment process as per the stipulated time limit which will be mentioned in the Email/SMS or according to the admission schedule.
  6. Only after payment of admission fee within the stipulated time the students will be considered to have taken admission in that subject . If any student chooses not to pay within this stipulated time, they shall not be considered eligible for admission at any later time. Those who will pay the admission fees, must mail the scan copy of their admission form and bank payment receipt ( PDF/ Screenshot/  Scan of Passbook page etc.) to the mail address admissionggdc.pedong@gmail.com with 5 days from date of payment.
  7. Any student can decide to cancel their admission after payment of admission fee. The students need to apply through email to  admissionggdc.pedong@gmail.com. The admission fees will be refunded to students. The Student will be communicated in this regard.  
  8. Once a student is admitted to a course/programme, they are not allowed to change the programme after the closing of admission procedure on 30.09.2021.
  9. As mentioned earlier in the tentative schedule, if seats in any course remain vacant after the completion of any phase of admission according to the merit list, subsequent merit lists will be published with the same admission procedure within stipulated time which will be notified on the college webpage as per the tentative schedule mentioned earlier. 
  10. After admission, students will be registered to the affiliating university, NBU. To complete the university registration, students will be asked   to submit a list of documents which will be informed later. 
  11. Students who have passed out from boards other than West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education must produce the original copy of Migration Certificates. In case of students, who have already registered themself earlier to NBU, must submit their registration certificate. However, students registered to other Universities must submit their cancelled registration certificate.
  12. During verification if the students already admitted to a course is found ineligble according to the the eligibility criteria their admission shall be cancelled
